Glutino chocolate and yogurt covered pretzel giveaway!

Next month is Celiac Awareness month, and as if I don't talk about gluten-free living enough, now I have even more reason to celebrate my life without the pesky grains. More and more people are being diagnosed, with even greater numbers of people walking around, unknowingly, with the disease. This is why it is so important to have tasty options out there, so making the change can seem just a little less life-altering.

Glutino was kind enough to send me samples of their newest treats, the chocolate and yogurt covered pretzels. I have always been a huge fan of their regular gluten-free pretzels and could never stop myself at one handful, so I knew that these new varieties were going to be trouble, and was I ever right! When they arrived I didn't know which one to break into first...I was just so excited to eat one of my favorite snacks from before being gluten-free. I decided to go for the yogurt-covered pretzels first, and was in love...I could barely stop myself in order to open the chocolate-covered pretzels...and of course these were just as delicious!

I shared these tasty treats with my gluten-able family and we all agreed they were both wonderful, and tasted no different, and maybe even better than their gluten-filled counterparts. I will definitely be buying these in the future.

So in celebration of Celiac Awareness month, Glutino is giving away 2 snack care packages, which include these new amazing pretzels and new cereals.

  5. My favorite gluten-free snack? Hmm...this is probably lame, but I would go with something cheap and naturally gluten-free, like a banana. :)

  6. My gluten-free snack of choice? Hmmmm, hard one, but I do like Glutino regular pretzels and also Angie's Artisan natural kettle corn. Already liked you on Facebook, so I am now following you on Twitter and retweeted your contest link! I LOVE Glutino regular pretzels and have had the chocolate covered ones as well...so delicious! I would really love to try the yogurt covered ones...haven't been able to find those yet!

  7. One of my favorite gluten free snacks to take on the run is Stoneyfield Farm's strawberry flavored tube yogurts (like Go-Gurt). I like these because I can freeze them and then they slowly defrost on my way somewhere, and then I have a slightly slushy gluten free yogurt drink when I get there!

  8. I always carry a Kind bar in my purse. They are nut and fruit bars and are sold at Starbucks. They keep well and are very tasty.

  13. My favorite salty snack since being diagnosed 5+ years ago has been Glutino's pretzels. My non GF family says they are better than the regular non GF brands in the store. Being a chocoholic....I am beyond excited to try these out. I love the sweet and salty combination. Are these already available in the stores?

  14. My favorite Gluten Free snack on the go is from ThinkThin. I eat their protein bars for breakfast on the go, but for snacks they have these "bites" that are 100 calories, a large amount of protein to keep me full, minimal sugar and they're really tasty!

  15. My daughter is just diagnosed last week, so we don't really have a fav gluten free snack yet (although I have some great ideas after reading this) her fav with gluten snack was yogurt covered pretzels. Thank you for the great info to make the transition to gluten free that much easier for an 8 year old girl (and her family)
